Weekly Solar PV Installations (ending 22nd July 2012)

With more than 6,000 solar PV installations, this last week solar figures have overcome the expectations in the UK. Still awaiting updates1, the Department of Energy and Climate Change published today the new Weekly Solar PV Installations and Capacity document, revealing great results for this week ending 22nd July.

With only one exact week left to the beginning of the August Feed-in Tariffs, 6,105 installations have been carried out in the UK during the last 7 days, in comparison to 4,536 from the week before, and the capacity installed increased by 18MW. Right now, there are a total of  353,575 solar panels installations registered on the MCS database, and the total capacity installed stands by 1.22GW.
