Hot off the press Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) statistics confirm our last week expectations: after a little fall in solar PV installations in the last week, this week there have been 2,700 solar PV installations in the UK.
The total numbers given is now 330,628 solar PV installations registered on the MCS in all the UK, the total capacity installed increased by 8MW, keeping the total capacity installed still on 1.13 GW right now.
After the 1st April Feed-in Tariffs cuts, the number of installations decreased around a 80%, with an average of 2,552 per week. However, due to the new cuts announcement, solar PV installations are expected to increase again, until the new August 2012 Feed-in Tariffs start.
